Acquired

RSL: Via trade with Los Angeles Galaxy on 6/21/07 along with D/M Nathan Sturgis in exchange for MF Chris Klein
LA: Selected in second round (16th overall) in 2007 MLS SuperDraft

It was another season and another six goals in an RSL uniform in 2008 for forward Robbie Findley, which put him just behind Yura Movsisyan in the chase for his second straight RSL Golden Boot crown in addition to catapulting him into third place on RSL's career goal-scoring chart with a dozen tallies. While the finishing touch was no surprise in '08, the biggest difference between Findley's standout campaign in '07 and last year came in the assist column, as the speedy striker helped on five goals last season after failing to register a helper as a rookie. Findley paced MLS with a League-best four goals off the bench in 2008, but the combination of confidence gained coming off his sparking training stint with Danish power Brψndby IF in January and the departure of strikers Kenny Deuchar and Fabian Espνndola means many expect a starting spot up top should be his for the taking in 2009.
