Acquired

CLB: Drafted in the fourth round (38th overall) of the 2006 MLS SuperDraft on 1/20/06
RSL: Acquired from CLB along with a first round selection in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft on 5/23/06 in exchange for GK Noah Palmer

Midfielder/forward Duke Hashimoto returns for his second season with Real Salt Lake with designs of gaining first-team minutes in 2007. After being acquired in an early season trade with the Columbus Crew last May, Hashimoto was a fixture for the RSL Reserves, scoring three goals in eight contests in helping the squad to a top-three finish. Hashimoto brings energy and an attacking mindset to the middle of the field that makes him one of the hidden gems among the League's young players. After failing to see the field during his rookie season, the SMU product is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Houston forward Brian Ching and become just the second native of Hawaii to grace an MLS field in 2007.
