Get a Kick Out of ReadingRSL is joining Major League Soccer (MLS) and the National Education Association (NEA) to show kids nationwide just how much fun reading can be. The bilingual program is using the sport of soccer to deliver positive messages about the value and fun of reading!
This year, RSL has teamed up with Borders to create a local community challenge for elementary students and teachers throughout the Wasatch Front. Students, based upon grade level, are challenged to read a specified time everyday of the school week for one month while parents and teachers help keep track of students’ progress. To reward the students and teachers, RSL and Borders have designed an incentive structure for both the commitment and the completion or out Get A Kick Out Of Reading challenge.
