RSL Florida, the exclusive youth development partner of Real Salt Lake, is one of the largest youth athletic organizations in the Tampa Bay community. Established in 1997 as Tampa Knights Futbol Club, RSL Florida now provides a rewarding team sport experience for over 1,000 area youths each year. Real Salt Lake coach John Ellinger serves as the technical director for the club, while University of Tampa men’s coaches Adrian Bush and Maurice Loregnard and women’s coach Bobby Johnston oversee the boy’s and girl’s teams. - RSL Florida tryouts for the 2007-2008 season begin June 2. RSL Florida teams compete at the highest level of boys’ and girls’ competition throughout Florida. Visit www.RSLFlorida.com for details. RSL Head Coach John Ellinger and Youth Development Coordinator Ryan Brooks are expected to attend.
- Congratulations to RSL Florida, which has advanced 9 teams to the Florida State Cup Round of 16. This is more than any other club in Region C. Congrats to U13, U14 and U17 Boys; as well as U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U19 Girls Teams. The State Cup finals take place May 18-19 in Ft. Myers.
- RSL Florida U-17 Boys begin Super Y-League Southeast Division competition this weekend at FC Sarasota. This is the first RSL affiliate to take the field in USL Super Y-League competition. RSL Florida will compete in U13, U14 and U17 age groups (boys and girls). Good luck RSL in Super Y-League!
